The Service Quilt
Fifteen patches that describe how I serve, from Meet the Guest to Display Passion, stitched around one statement: I serve from the heart. Written as a one-page philosophy and built as an interactive web version.
“I serve a guest in all ways possible with every part of who I am so that their experience is magical, problems are solved, and they enjoy their time. I am present, joyful, and empathetic. I serve from the heart.”

Each patch is one habit of service. Choose one to read it. This is a native rebuild of the web version I made for the course.

What I built
A quilt anyone could make
The assignment asked for a one-page service philosophy. I wrote the page, then built it as a small Next.js app: a grid of patches on the home page, a page for each patch, and, for other students, “Create my own” and “Update my quilt” flows backed by a Supabase database so they could assemble their own quilt from their own words.
That database has since been retired, so the patches here are rendered from the original data directly. The source is on GitHub, and the framing lives on in my service philosophy.
